Walk out of the Stable and up onto the fells behind the house which run the length of Coniston. Beyond, at the head of the lake, the higher peaks rise into the heart of Lakeland.

Sleeping
The Stable sleeps eight in four rooms — a dramatic double bedroom on the gallery overlooking the living room, and three twin rooms — two upstairs and one down.
